PTC ASIA 2013 and CeMAT ASIA 2013, the two leading industrial shows grandly kick off today at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Focusing on efficient production, the paired shows are to provide solutions and lead to a sustainable development of the industry.

As the top one event in Asia and the second largest one over the world in the field of power transmission and control, PTC ASIA 2013 further expanded in scale and influence. Compressed air, one of its three major sectors, has upgraded into ComVac ASIA 2013, a brand new concurrent show. This year, PTC ASIA and ComVac ASIA together take up 10 halls and cover a record high area of 100,000 sqm, with over 1,650 exhibitors. Large companies, including SEW, Siemens, Nord, Bosch Rexroth, HAWE and STAUFF, all choose PTC ASIA as the platform for launching their new products, which highlight the show.

Both sectors achieve continued growth with a superb line-up of exhibitors. The display area for mechanical power transmission exceeds 22,000 sqm. Big names like SEW, Siemens, Nord, Lenze, Bonfiglioli, EMAG, SKF, NSK, JTEKT, Emerson, WAFIOS are all active participants of the show. Fluid power transmission sector welcomes key companies like Bosch Rexroth, HAWE, HYDAC, STAUFF, HANSA-FLEX, CAMOZZI, Parker Hannifin, Kawasaki, Huade, Sunbun, HIGH-TECH FLUID POWER, Liming, Yuci, Hengli, Zhongchuan and TAIFENG. Countries and regions including Germany, Italy, UK, France, the United States, Turkey, India, Japan, South Korea and China Taiwan appear in the form of pavilions.

Crowned as key barometer of global logistics industry, CeMAT ASIA 2013 welcomes a group of global leaders in system integration including Dematic, Daifuku, SSI Schaefer, CSIC, BMHRI, NTI, KENMEC, RIAMB, Smuratec and Siasun, which demonstrate their cutting-edge logistics automation equipment and concepts.

Forklift Truck and Accessories witnesses the comeback of Jungheinrich in grand style, as industry pioneers like Vita-Wheel, BYD, Noblielift, Ruyi, Goodsense, Cascade and Kaup compete for the limelight. Domestic powerhouses in conveyors and conveying systems such as Ho Jin, Tungray and Dingneng present themselves in a grand scale. Electric Hoist, AGV, Cold Chain and LIFT SHANGHAI are newly planned. Regarding value-added services, an innovative CeMAT ASIA salon is to provide a neutral, open and free exchange platform for industrial elites. The total display area of CeMAT ASIA 2013 has reached 37,000 sqm, with over 480 exhibitors.

To extend the value, a series of interactive activities such as group visit, technical forums, purchase negotiation and buyers matchmaking are undertaken concurrently. In addition, all information concerning the shows will be sent to users via new media platforms like APP, Wechat and Weibo. More than 70,000 visitors are expected this year.
