In the past, the tall shelves were placed too high to meet the speed of "innovation" in this kind of warehouse, so the height of shelves dropped sharply to less than 5 meters in order to adapt to the sudden increase in the order volume of e-commerce platform.

 

Shelf is one of the basic facilities of warehouse, and in addition to shelf, conveyor, high-speed sorting system also occupies an important position in the warehouse.

 

According to the gravity auxiliary classification, gravity conveyor can be divided into roller type, drum type and ball type because of the different rolling body. The power conveyor is generally powered by motor, according to its driving medium, it can be divided into drum conveyor, belt conveyor, chain conveyor and so on.

 

It is important to note that although the conveyor can transport large items, but there are transportation routes are not easy to change, and the area is too large and so on.

 

The high-speed sorting system is generally composed of control device, classification device, transportation device and sorting channel entrance. Through the control device to identify, receive and process the sorting signal, the goods on the main conveyor belt are automatically classified, and then according to the sorting instructions issued by the control device, the classification device can change the operation direction of the goods on the conveying device.

 

It is understood that only about 150 pieces per hour can be sorted manually, and the labor intensity of pure manual sorting is very high, and the automatic sorting system can run continuously for more than 100 hours, and 7000 pieces of packaged goods can be sorted per hour. The efficiency is improved, and the reduction of labor costs is self-evident.
