An inventory of Major Scientific and technological Innovation achievements in Machinery Industry in the first half of the year


In January 2019, Changji-Guquan ±1100 kV UHVDC transmission line successfully realized full voltage transmission, making China the first country in the world with the capacity to transmit 10 million kilowatts of electric energy in the range of 3000 to 5000 kilometers.

On May 6, XCA1600, a 9-bridge all-ground crane developed by Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xugong Group), successfully completed the installation of 140m high and nearly 90 tons of fans in Baixiang Wind Farm, Hebei Province, setting a world record of wind power installation height of all-ground cranes.

On July 5, the W12X92 Crankshaft, made by Shanghai Electric Ship Crankshaft Co., Ltd, was officially lowered. The crankshaft, with a spliced structure with a total length of 23.5 meters and a weight of 488 tons, is currently the heaviest marine crankshaft in the world.

On June 20, a 15-meter Laver boat carrying Yuchai YC6K12 diesel engine was successfully piloted in Mupu, South Korea, the first new ship to successfully match Yuchai in South Korea, marking the successful opening of the South Korean market.
