On October 26, the logistics operation analysis report released by the China Logistics Information Center showed that the prosperity index of the logistics industry averaged 53.1 % in the first three quarters, down 1.8 percentage points from the same period last year and 51.6 % in the third quarter, down 2.3 percentage points from the average in the first half of this year.

In the first three quarters, the total logistics volume of the whole society was 204.1 trillion yuan, close to 206.3 trillion yuan in the first ten months of last year, up 6.7 % year on year at comparable prices, down 0.2 percentage points from the first half and the same period last year.

According to preliminary estimates, the total amount of social logistics nationwide will increase by about 6.5 % year on year, while the total amount of commercial logistics related to wholesale and retail, online retail and urban distribution will increase by about 7 %.
